About the Role
As an Application Support Analyst at Zapproach, you will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our software applications. This role involves both proactive management of existing systems and rapid response to any issues that arise, ensuring that our internal and external customers experience minimal disruption and maintain high satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain operational systems to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Provide first and second-level support for any application issues, including problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to enhance system functionality and resolve any issues in a timely manner.
- Manage incident tickets and processes, including tracking, documentation, and resolution.
- Develop and maintain system documentation and support procedures.
- Train and assist users in new features and functionalities.
- Conduct regular reviews of systems and generate reports on efficiencies and improvement areas.
- Implement application updates and patches as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Application Support Analyst or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software applications and IT systems used within the organization.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with both technical and non technical staff.
- Knowledge of SQL and experience with database management and maintenance.
- Familiarity with industry standards and ITIL frameworks is preferred.
