As a Data and Security Specialist at Zappproach Ltd, you will be instrumental in safeguarding our data and ensuring our networks are secure against threats. This role requires a proactive approach to security protocols, risk assessment, and the implementation of strategic measures to protect our systems and data integrity.

• Implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks, and information
• Identify and define system security requirements and advise on the latest security strategies and technologies
• Conduct assessments and audits to ensure compliance with security policies and adherence to best practices.
• Manage the configuration and installation of security infrastructure devices.
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
• Prepare and document standard operating procedures and protocols.
• Conduct regular system tests and ensure continuous monitoring of network security.
• Collaborate with the IT department to ensure alignment between security practices and IT infrastructure.
• Respond to information security issues during each stage of a project’s lifecycle.
• Train staff in security awareness and protocols

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar are highly desirable.
• Proven experience in a similar role with a strong focus on data protection and IT security.
• Comprehensive understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and network/web related protocols.
• Experience in network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools.
• Thorough knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
